Esoterismo: introduzione

Il WoD ha come parte del suo essere una buona dose di horror, mistero, esoterismo...
ma cosa significano tutti questi termini?

Per capirlo dobbiamo introdurne un altro, la Teosofia - cfr. http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teosofia - che secondo la definizione italiana è la dottrina filosofico-religiosa della seconda metà del sec. XIX, che è frutto di una sintesi tra le varie credenze religiose e le scienze occulte; mira a ricondurre l'uomo alle fonti dell'antica sapienza attraverso una conoscenza esoterica della divinità.

Proprio questo termine -Esoterico- è a sua volta un contenitore di diverse informazioni...

Come districarsi nel mare di informazioni e conoscenze che questo mondo ci schiude?

Girovagando per il web, ho trovato il sito http://www.esonet.org/ che si definisce -La tradizione iniziatica tra Oriente ed Occidente-.

Sostanzialmente un portale, molto ben fatto, dove il contributo di ricercatori, dottori, scienziati è racchiuso in oltre 10.000 documenti tra schede, articoli, e-book e conta quasi 5000 iscritti.

Molto interessante è il Glossario Esoterico, e la sezione "fotografica" è un'appetibilissima fonte di mappe, simboli, e quant'altro.

Da avere tra i preferiti...
